The Information We Collect
We currently collect email addresses from site visitors who 1) enter their email to receive our bi-weekly electronic newsletter or 2) input their email address to initiate use of the Low Impact Living Impact Calculator. We do not collect any other information at this time.
How We Use the Information
We use the emails our users provide to us only to email newsletters and other information to those users. We do not share users’ emails with any other parties. We do not sell or lend users’ emails to anyone outside of Low Impact Living, Inc.
Relationships with Third-Party Sites
We also sell items on our site through affiliate relationships with other online retailers (e.g., Amazon.com, EFI.org). When a user on the Low Impact Living website clicks on a product link, the user will be redirected to our retailer partner’s site. Those sites collect user information and credit card information, but Low Impact Living does not receive any of that information. We believe those sites are reputable and safeguard shopper’s personal information, but Low Impact Living, Inc. cannot be held accountable for the use of that personal information by those third-party retail sites.
